ArtsVote BC – Keeping arts and culture on the election agenda

ArtsVote BC is a non-partisan grassroots campaign designed to keep arts and culture on the agendas of political parties, candidates and voters in British Columbia.

ArtsVote BC is an initiative of the BC Alliance for Arts + Culture, British Columbia’s leading arts information aggregator and a resource to the arts, culture and heritage community.

Visit the ArtsVote BC web site to view:

  • Resources and toolkits for voters and candidates, to aid everyone in becoming better advocates for arts, culture and heritage.
  • Results of surveys of political candidates on their views on arts, culture and heritage issues facing the creative sector in our society and in their respective communities.
  • Opportunity to attend at all-candidates’ meeting on May 1 at Simon Fraser University’s Djavad Mowafaghian Cinema; all political parties represented in the BC General Election will have the chance to share and debate their platform for the arts, culture and heritage sectors with local cultural workers.
