First among provinces, three organizations representing BC’s galleries, libraries, archives and museums (GLAM) sector have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to build capacity for learning and discovery.
The MOU, signed March 24, 2017, in Surrey, BC, creates a new partnership that formalizes cooperation amongst the British Columbia Museums Association (BCMA), the British Columbia Library Association (BCLA) and the Archives Association of BC (AABC). The MOU is a public commitment to share expertise, embark on collaborative research projects, explore public outreach opportunities and identify joint funding ventures to strengthen the sector.
