What are the key issues facing today’s BCHF member societies — and what might we do about them?
On May 26, 2018, the BCHF Advocacy Committee sought to find out, hosting a members’ forum to identify and highlight issues of importance to our member organizations.
The forum took place during the BCHF annual conference in Naksup, with members from across the province present. The discussion — moderated by BCHF council member Mark Forsythe — was wide ranging, covering topics such as accessing the BC Archives, attracting/retaining younger members and volunteers, refocusing the Step Up for History campaign and more.
