The Friends of the BC Archives are now accepting applications for the 2023 Indigenous Research Fund. Please help get the word out by sharing with your networks!
Funded with support from the Royal BC Museum, the Fund provides up to $1000 to support Indigenous peoples’ access to the BC Archives.
Individuals and organizations may apply to receive funding for travel (including accommodations and meals), hiring a researcher, and other costs. The grant is flexible in the types of projects it supports. Previous recipients have used the funding for cultural awareness training, research on sacred sites, films, books, and other projects.
