Nominations are now open for the Governor General’s History Award for Excellence in Community Programming.
The award from Canada’s History, honours two innovative programs or initiatives that commemorate unique aspects of our heritage and encourage greater public interest in the past.
Recipients receive a cash prize of $2,500 each and a trip for two to attend the award ceremony in Ottawa.** (**Travel may be disrupted in 2020/2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic).
Deadline for complete projects is July 15, 2020.
