With great sadness, we heard about the passing of friend and colleague Greg Evans last week. Whether you knew Greg through his work at Vancouver Museum, RBCM, Maritime Museum of BC, Esquimalt Archives or through a shared interest in BC brewing history, you will remember his humour, warmth, and generosity in sharing his knowledge and research.
Greg began his career with the Provincial Museum as advisor to local museums in the 1980s; served as Executive Director of the British Columbia Museums’ Association from 1993-1997, and was the manager and executive director of the Vancouver Museum and the Maritime Museum of British Columbia. Greg retired last year as municipal archivist for the Township of Esquimalt.
