Humourous, tragic, personal, and engaging stories about the history of British Columbia. Every issue is full of photos, maps, illustrations, book reviews, and insights into local archives.
British Columbia History began in 1923 as the Annual Report and Proceedings of the British Columbia Historical Association (now the British Columbia Historical Federation). From 1937–58 it was published as the British Columbia Historical Quarterly, and then the B.C. Historical News from 1968–2005. British Columbia History tells British Columbia’s story through a unique mix of community chroniclers, museum and archive professionals, and academic historians.
British Columbia History is published four times a year, in Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.
