Indigitization grant program accepting applications

The Irving K. Barber Learning Centre at UBC, UBC iSchool, UNBC and the Museum of Anthropology are calling for applications for the 2019 Indigitization grant program, the deadline is December 10, 2018.

Indigitization is a matching funds grant program to support audio-cassette digitization projects in First Nations and Aboriginal communities across BC. Grants are awarded up to $10,000/project.

Eligibility: First Nations, Métis and Inuit community institutions and agencies with mandates to preserve information resources. Previous participants are welcome to apply again but in your application you must demonstrate how capacity-building will be enhanced by another unique project.

Deadline: December 10, 2018, 12pm.
