Join the Royal BC Museum November 14th from 5:15 — 7:00 pm for their upcoming installment of “It’s Complicated”— a participatory discussion series that tackles perspectives and definitions, upending assumptions to help us better understand ourselves and our community.
The event offers “an intriguing mix of facilitators will get the conversation started, but where it goes from there is up to you”.
‘Unceded’ is a term commonly used to describe stolen Indigenous land, an important word and concept in any colonized cultural landscape. Colonial treatries may or may not have been agreed to willingly, but they shape our lives, our lands and our relationships.
This participatory discussion will begin to explore the use of this word in the context of this particular place and space.
The series is offered by donation. Learn more on the RBCM website.
