The executive committee of the National Heritage Digitization Strategy is embarking on strategic planning to update the mission and vision for the strategy and re-articulate its ambitious community-driven mandate.
They are inviting stakeholders in the heritage and cultural knowledge community to help shape the future of the strategy.
The National Heritage Digitization Stratecy was developed in 2016 with the mission of engaging the Canadian gallery, library, archive and museum community and Canadian creators in sharing expertise, to facilitate the digitization, preservation, and discovery of Canadian documentary heritage. Our goal with this strategic planning process is to better understand the needs of the community and the place for a national heritage digitization strategy in Canada. More information on the strategic planning process is available here.
