Participate in National Canadian Film Day 150!

Help your community celebrate Canadian film: become a screening host for National Canadian Film Day 150 on April 19, 2017!

National Canadian Film Day 150 (NCFD 150) is a massive one-day celebration of Canadian cinema in honour of our country’s 150th birthday. Presented by REEL CANADA, the event will see over 600 Canadian movies screened in hundreds of communities across Canada, providing a tremendous opportunity for Canadians of all ages and backgrounds to gather and enjoy the wealth of work by our nation’s storytellers.

REEL CANADA invites your community or organization to take part by screening a Canadian film on April 19, 2017.

REEL CANADA helps screening hosts every step of the way, from finding a film that that your community will love, to providing goodies and promotional materials, to helping offset costs so NCFD 150 screenings can be free for all Canadians to enjoy. Depending on the size, scope and location of your screening, there may be even more ways that REEL CANADA can contribute.

For more information about hosting a screening, visit National Canadian Film Day 150 or contact Jenny Lee Craig at jenny@reelcanada.ca or 778-995-3573.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if every single Canadian, all over the country, had somewhere to watch a great Canadian film on April 19, 2017? Help us get closer to that goal and celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday by participating in the world’s largest film festival. Ever!
