Suggest a new Stop of Interest sign

Do you have an idea for a new Stop of Interest sign along a roadway in BC?

The BC government is looking to add 75 new signs to its existing inventory of roadside Stop of Interest signs, and it is asking for ideas from the public.

Until January 31, 2017, submit your suggestion of a person, location or event that deserves to be recognized for its historical or cultural meaning to your community or to the province at large. Suggestions will be reviewed by senior government staff and final selections will be reviewed by cultural and historical experts for accuracy.

As part of this initiative, the government is also replacing or restoring Stop of Interest signs that have become dated, worn or lost.
