Earlier this month an important piece of cultural heritage returned to its homelands thanks to the Maiyoo Keyoh Society who repatriated the Susk’uz headdress from the Royal Ontario Museum.
The Keyohwhudachun (chief) headdress is a cultural artifact of the Maiyoo Keyoh, a family territory about 100 kilometres northwest of Prince George.
Visitors can view the headdress on display at the Exploration Place in Prince George.
