Union Club is National Historic Site

The Union Club of B.C.’s building located in Victoria on the corner of Gordon and Humboldt streets has been recognized as a national historic site by Parks Canada.

The beaux arts building was completed in 1912 and continues to host the members of the B.C. Union club today. Parks Canada recognizes “places of profound importance to Canada” with “each national historic site tells its own unique story, part of the greater story of Canada, contributing a sense of time, identity, and place to our understanding of Canada as a whole”.
