Looking to hire a student or recent post-secondary graduate for the summer?
Young Canada Works (YCW), a collaboration between the National Trust for Canada and the Department of Canadian Heritage, helps fund meaningful youth employment in built heritage, historic sites and related organizations in Canada.
YCW helps organizations offer student summer jobs and internship positions in such areas as historic research, heritage site interpretation, Doors Open events, and more. It also connects organizations with a pool ofĀ eligible students from around the country who are looking for work.
Two funding streams are offered, with the deadline for each indicated below. There areĀ four times the amount of internshipsĀ andĀ more than double the amount of summer jobsĀ to be funded this year!
- YCW in Heritage Organizations (summer students) – January 15, 2018
- YCW at Building Careers in Heritage (internships) – February 1, 2018
