The Jewish Museum and Archives of BC is pleased to announce a call for entries for the second annual BC Jewish History Research Prize.
This prize is awarded annually to works of research making substantial use of the BC Jewish Community Archives. The award is open to both graduate and undergraduate students, as well as faculty and independent scholars.
Works considered can include but are not limited to articles of up to 10,000 word, as well as public history projects such as exhibits, documentary films, and historical works in other media.
The deadline for entries is September 30, 2019.
The winning entry will be announced at the JMABC annual general meeting on November 20, 2019. The winner will be awarded a $500 cash prize.
