Fire. Flood. Earthquake. Is your museum or cultural centre prepared?
The BC Museums Association (BCMA) will present emergency planning workshops in Penticton (April 24) and Prince George (May 1), both tailored for small museums, galleries, historic sites and cultural centres. Led by Bill Chimko, Manager of Risk, Security Services and Business Continuity at the Royal BC Museum, the workshops cover risk assessment, emergency preparedness, business continuity and crisis communications impacting facilities, collections, staff, volunteers and visitors.
