Cyril Edel Leonoff was the founder of the Jewish Historical Society of British Columbia. Like the pioneers whose lives he spent decades documenting, Cyril had exceptional vision and tenacity. Predeceased by his wife, Faye, in 2011, Cyril is survived by his son Blair (Betsy), and daughters Anita (grandchildren Alysa and Cole) and Rosanne.
