Harry Kruisselbrink 1941-2022

Harry Kruisselbrink was a dear friend to the Bulkley Valley museum. As they wrote on their Facebook page:

“Harry was a dear friend to the museum – an author, photographer, researcher, presenter, heritage advocate, past board member, and our Fact-Checker-In-Chief. His enthusiasm for Smithers was genuine, heartfelt, and contagious – you couldn’t help but feel that you lived in the best town in the world when you heard him speak about it. He was a personal friend to our staff and board and we will miss him deeply. We share our condolences to Audrey and the entire Kruisselbrink family.”

Kruisselbrink wrote numerous stories about local history, including Smithers: A Railroad Town that is considered one of the go-to essential books on Smithers’ history.
