The BC History of Nursing Society shares new of the death of one of their long time members —Nursing Sister Jessie Lee Middleton.
Born December 12, 1916 in Murrayville, BC, Jessie died May 22, 2019 age 102 years! Jessie graduated from the Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster BC in September 1939. She served overseas as Nursing Sister – Lieutenant Jessie Lee – with the Royal Canadian Army Nursing Corps during WW2.
